Anne Hathaway plays Jane Austen in this film about how she became one of the most famous female authors of fiction. This movie shows that she grew up in a modest home and her parents really wanted her to marry for wealth. She chose instead to stay single and support herself by her pen. There is definitely some fiction mixed in with fact that I'm sure was added to make it a more enjoyable movie. Being a Jane Austen fan I enjoyed the movie.
