American Teen

This documentary follows the story of a handful of teens, how different their lives are, and how they survive the teenage high school years. You have the rich popular girl, the jock, the alternative girl, and the girl crazy dork. This is a really good movie that would be a good teaching tool in High Schools. You find that you really start liking and disliking the main kids and can't wait to find out what happens to them.

Camp Rock

Another Disney Channel original movie starring Demi Lovato and The Jonas Brothers. The story is about a young girl who goes to music camp for the first time and when trying to impress some popular girls lies about who she really is. Kind of cheesy but young girls will love it.

House Bunny

When Shelley (Anna Faris) turns 27 and is kicked out the Playboy mansion she has no-where to go. She comes across a college sorority den mother meeting and decides that is what she is going to do. The only sorority in need of a den mother is the Zetas, a group of misfits that are in danger of losing their sorority due to lack of membership. Shelley is determined to help them save their house and become the most popular girls on campus. Of course this movie has been done multiple times before but still kind of cute.

Never Back Down

After his father's death Jake (Sean Faris) moves to a new school and quickly goes from being the tough kid to getting the tar beat out of him by the local superstar of underground mixed-martial arts. He decides to study the art with a local master played by Djimon Hounsou and in the process deals with some of his anger over his father's death. If you like martial arts and fight scenes you will enjoy this movie, because after all who watches movies like this for the plot anyway?

Drillbit Taylor

Sick of being bullied, 3 kids decide the answer to their problem is to hire a bodyguard. The only problem is that they don't have enough money for most of the people they interview. Then they meet Drillbit Taylor, a homeless guy who decides he is going to take the kids money without really doing the job, and of course starts to like the kids along the way. Not as funny as I thought it was going to be, but Owen Wilson is always fun to watch.
